The Big Billion Days sale starts from October 2 on Flipkart and the e-commerce giant has big plans to make the most of the festive season. This time the platform is going exclusively sell Samsung next Galaxy On8.

The South Korean company will launch its new Galaxy On device on the same date on Flipkart which has already started teasing the new Galaxy On8 on its platform. The e-commerce’s Facebook page says, “Super AMOLED meets Full HD, #TheNextON Coming Soon.”

Further, the Bengaluru-based etailer’s platform that will hold its flagship shopping festival from October 2 to 6 revealed the name of the phone in its ‘Special thanks to our partners’ section, where it mentions Samsung Galaxy On8 as of its partners. The South Korean company has already launched Galaxy On5 Pro and On7 Pro, focusing youth, in India earlier this year that cost Rs 9, 190 and Rs 11,190 respectively. As these were budget phones, you can expect Galaxy On8 to be a budget phone in the On series.

The teaser on the e-commerce does not give much information about the Galaxy On8, except that the phone will sport a Super AMOLED screen with Full HD display. It also says that the Galaxy On8 smartphone will have 3GB RAM and a long lasting battery.

It has been reportedly said the Galaxy On8 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor running at 1.5GHz.

As Samsung’s On series smartphones have features including Ultra Data Saving, S Bike mode, and Turbo speed charging. You can expect these features in the new On8 too.

It is important to note that the South Korean company has launched On7 in China last week. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and has been priced around Rs 16,000.
